Book your flight with a take-off time in between 11:00pm and 7:00am and you could find that it is relatively cheaper than a flight during the daytime. Don't stay loyal to your local airport More than one airport may offer similar flightsto the same destination, but at very different prices. Just because there is an airport near-by doesn't mean it will offer you the best deal. If you are willing to travel, and the cost of travelling to another airport is reasonable you could get a better deal at the further away airport.
Book your flights online. The price difference to booking online or with a travel agent can be astonishing.
